Q. Is my child safe at the nursery? A. Yes, The childrens enclosure is fenced with buzzer operated gates being the only access point. We have finger print entry and CCTV in operaiton, so that your child is safe and secure. Children also cannot release themselves from the site.

Q. Are your staff checked? A. Yes, all of our staff have had all the necessary checks including a rigerous application process and clear Disclosure and Barring Service checks.

Q. Can I stay with my child to help them to settle in? A. We have every confidence that our experienced team will make them feel at home. However, should you feel more comfortable in being part of the settling process, we will welcome this.

Q. Are the children given drinks? A. What ever care package your child receives drinks are always available and included in the price. Also, all children will have access to free milk as part of their care.

Q. Will my child receive a planned day or are they left ot choose what they do? A. Every child will enjoy a planned time that is suitable to their needs. This includes, creative time, constructive time, music, quiet time, messy play and wet play. In the summer months we will encourage children to take part in outdoor play, weather permitting.

Q. Will my child have their own Key Worker? A. Yes every child is assigned to an individual carer who will cater to their specific needs and ensure their learning with us is progessive.

Q. My child has a comfort blanket, can they bring it? A. Friends Together's aim is to be a home from home environment, simply yes, in most cases our answer will be what ever makes them feel at home.

Q. In the outdoor space will there be sunshade available in the sunnier months? A. Yes we erect a gazebo in the summer to provid more than adequate cover and protection.

Q. Do I need to supply anything? A. Yes there are a few personal items that we ask to be supplied and labelled. These include, sun hats, sun creams/lotions, wipes, nappies, and medication as prescribed.

Q. Do you provide healthy foods? A. Our meals provide the necessary five-a-day fruit and vegetables and are all home cooked to the highest standards. Each child has fruit snacks available in morning sessions.
